Our personal story at KC to Annecy is not one of youthful travel, flying free before the responsibilities of life weigh us down. Neither are we retirees, riding off into the sunset after a lifetime of toil. Our journey begins as a stable, productive, (boring) couple who were settled in our routines and established in our community. How did life events push us out of our careers, apart from friends and family, and away from our lifetime home?
